Future trends for often-invisible but invaluable car features and enhancements were on display at a recent Innovations Day held by OEM car accessory specialist Bosal-ORIS for guests from the automotive industry. Guest speaker Dr. Wendelin Wiedeking, Chairman of Porsche, led industry experts discussing key topics of lightweight construction and bionics.
On Wednesday 19th November, more than 100 invited guests spent the day at the Bosal-ORIS technical center in Markgröningen, Germany. Six high profile speakers from universities and institutes delivered workshops including lightweight construction and bionics.

Guests were invited to inspect the current product range from Bosal-ORIS including detachable and retractable tow bars, windstops for convertibles, roof racks and carriers as well as jacks.
Looking to the future, engineers from Bosal-ORIS presented future projects including electrically operated retractable tow bars, electrically operated windstops, lightweight towbars and other innovations.
