Trailer hitch with electrical retractable ball neck for the Porsche Panamera
BOSAL-ORIS is the creator of the first world wide trailer hitch with retractable ball neck. BOSAL-ORIS developed the ORIS-MATIC trailer hitch with an electrical retractable ball neck for the new Panamera, which is the first sedan car of Porsche. Developments of this system for further vehicles will follow.
This product provides the owner (e.g. horse friend, caravan owner) significant advantages:
- The ball neck is retracting out of the hidden area under the bumper by a push on the button and locks in the operating position.
- The ball neck and the socket are invisible in the stationary position and consequently they do not disturb the design of the vehicle.
- Very comfortable for the user is:
The user can easily plug the electric connector of his trailer in the socket, which is sidewise integrated in the ball neck. This avoids the inconvenient search under the cover of the bumper.
- Safety is secured:
A flashing LED-display shows the unlocked condition of the ball neck and it disappears in the stationary as well as in the operating position. If an object constrains the retracting action of the ball neck, it stops and moves into the opposite direction.
- This trailer hitch system is fordable, that means:
The system stays dry if - for example - a vehicle drives into a lake/river to launch a boat.
- Because of the special mounting dimensions of the trailer hitch the vehicle´s angle of driving slope is not affected.
