- Upgraded web catalogue uses the latest vehicle definitions for accurate search
- Full range of Bosal’s aftermarket options showcased for the first time
- Easy access to universal products
- New online catalogue to go live by the end of June
Leading European AM exhaust supplier Bosal, has recently completed a major software project that has enabled the creation of a new online product catalogue, making it easier than ever to search its full range of vehicle products.
Bosal’s new online system, which uses the up-to-date vehicle definitions and product information, features enhanced search functionality designed to make it easier and quicker to find the right products. The detailed filtering options for Bosal’s catalogue have been determined following customer feedback.
The reconfiguration of product information lays the foundation for a greater number of vehicles to be matched with the Bosal’s corresponding aftermarket options. For the first time, its web catalogue is also fully responsive, meaning it can be viewed on mobile phones and tablets, allowing customers to access the system from remote locations.
At the start of the year, Bosal’s upgraded product definitions were rolled out across both Headline and TecDoc catalogues, but the new in-house system means that visitors to Bosal’s website can also benefit from the quick and accurate look-up facility.
The two-year undertaking involved significant software development and detailed data integration, and in the process of accurately mapping its product range to OE numbers, Bosal was able to identify an additional six million vehicles in the European parc that are able to be equipped with one of its aftermarket solutions.
In addition to showing the latest range of aftermarket products, Bosal’s upgraded system will also provide customers with access to universal products like bicycle carriers. The new web catalogue is scheduled to go live by the end of June.
