BOSAL is a Dutch privately owned company, mainly known as a global Tier 1 automotive supplier, in business since 1923. Our company is organized around 3 business areas:
- Powertrain: in this largest BOSAL division, we design and manufacture emission control systems (cold end + hot end) for passenger cars and heavy duty vehicles (ICE + hybrid)
- Chassis: this division comprises a large range of welded and formed products going from seat frames to fuel tanks and air tanks, to towbars and jacks.
- Energy: the Energy Conversion business unit of BOSAL designs and manufactures state-of-the-art plate and tube heat exchangers for advanced power generators. We have 20 years experience in the area of gas turbines and fuel cell systems, not only as a supplier of components but also as a system integrator.
Currently, we are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer in Vianen, Netherlands. The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing, establishing, and improving manufacturing processes of heat exchangers and correlated products.. Responsibilities
- Ensuring high-quality manufacturing processes that are scalable in need of the ongoing industrialization of heat exchanger products.
- Involvement of the industrialization including planning, budget, documentation, coordination, feasibility and cost effectiveness.
- Builds a robust Engineering capability within the organization to ensure products and process design are feasible and conform to customer quality specifications.
- Implements hardware that can effectively be maintained.
- Designs in 3D and 2D technical drawing software (CAD) solutions.
- Manage standardization across all departments and assure consistent application of Engineering standards and requirements.
- Supporting role to production (his customer) in case of complex production problems.
- Ensures good communication and high involvement with other employees.
- Follows the quality, safety, and environmental regulations of the company.
Requirements
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree / HBO Engineering (Mechanical preferred).
- Strong technical expertise in engineering principles and fundamentals.
- Technical and process mindset that is working with a structured approach.
Experience
- Minimal 3 years of operations experience in high quality assemble field.
- Experience with metal and or welding processes.
- Experience in industrial automation by robots and tooling.
- CAD design capability.
- Direct hands-on interaction with customer engineering departments.
- Project management experience.
- Experience with Siemens NX is a pre.
- Participation in and achievement of productivity and continuous improvement projects.
