Corporate Social Responsibility

The Bosal Approach

BOSAL's policy for corporate social responsibility addresses topics such as corruption, forced & child labor, intellectual property, etc. To keep a strict watch over its supply chain, BOSAL aims to source responsibly in combination with supporting peace and development worldwide.

As compliance is an integrated part of its corporate culture, BOSAL requires that suppliers, when registering in the sourcing portal, read the compliance letter, acknowledge the content by signing, and upload this document in the portal.

In addition, BOSAL aims to respect human rights, avoid contributing to conflict through sourcing practices and contribute to sustainable development by sourcing responsibly from conflict-affected and high-risk areas. Within this context, BOSAL’s Conflict Minerals activities are in line with the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (Section 1502) and the OECD Due Diligence Guidelines.

To meet BOSAL customers’ requirements, all direct suppliers are requested via the sourcing portal to comply with the Dodd-Frank regulation and provide all necessary declarations to increase insight into the supply chain
